Other Information
The Club Coach certification is for experienced coaches who are volunteers, teachers or otherwise actively coaching 3-5 sessions/week. The training for this course is Throws-based in Athletics. The main focus of this course is to support Athletes in Training, Plan a Season Program, Support the Competitive Experience by Analyzing Performance.
Club Coaches Need to be:
- Current member of Athletics Ontario or other provincial branch or Athletics Ontario
- Have Experience with a Seasonal Training Plan
- You will be required to complete the online courses before being Certified:
- Managing Conflict (4 hours and the online evaluation)
- Leading Drug Free Sport (3.5 hours and the online evaluation)
- Make Ethical Decisions (3 hours and the online evaluation)

NOTE: Athletics Ontario reserves the right to cancel or reschedule NCCP coaching courses based on attendance numbers. Participants will be notified of cancellation at least one week in advance of the course date.
