Other Information
Purpose: To provide shiai experience to aid in the development of local young competitors.
Entry Fee: $25.00 (pay on-site)
Weigh-in: Honour System. There will be a scale for spot checks should concerns arise.
Eligibility: All competitors must be in good standing with Judo BC prior to the tournament registration deadline of January 19, 2020.
Maximum Rank will be Orange Belt for all categories.
Categories for u-10, u-12, & u-14. Age categories defined as per Judo Canada guidelines.
Male and Female categories separate where possible.
Competitors will be grouped by age and weight, as entries permit.
Elimination: Round Robin.
Contest Rules, Match Times and Divisions: As per Judo Canada sanctioning policy.
Matches will be officiated, and scores called but not recorded. No placed rankings, only matches. White-belt newaza only matches will be running time of 3 minutes, race to two Osaekomi Ippons.

9:00 AM - 9:10 AM - Kodomo-Kata demonstration
9:15 AM - 10:30 AM - U10 matches
10:30 AM - 10:45 AM - U12 warm up
10:45 AM - 11:00 AM - Kodomo-Kata demonstration
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - U12 matches
12:00 PM - 12:15 PM - U14/U16/U18 Wild-card warm up
12:15 PM - 1:45 PM - U14/U16/U18 Wild-card matches
